Ep 5: A Nightmare on Elm Street (w/ Devon Coleman)

This week, the gang is joined by comedian and Batman-American, Devon Coleman (Sugar Water Purple, Hellhole)! And good news, we’re watching a normal movie: Wes Craven’s classic “A Nightmare On Elm Street.” Listen as Kyle and Devon lull Steven and Emma into a false sense of security because they forgot that Freddy is still pretty scary in this one.

Tickets available now for our live show on Friday, July 13th at ColdTowne Theater in Austin, TX! Go to coldtownetheater.com for more info!

Ep 4: Inside [À L’intérieur] (w/ Dylan Garsee)

Comedian Dylan Garsee (Pendulum Presents, Hail to the Queen) makes us watch “Inside (À L’intérieur)”, a brutal French horror film that includes liberal use of huge scissors, pregnant bellies and a Final Girl that is covered in blood by the end of the first act. This episode threatens to knock the whole podcast off the rails. Good job, Dylan! We are no longer friends!!!

Ep 3: The Invitation (w/ Danielle Gonzalez)

Comedian and friend Danielle Gonzalez (Say Uncle, Pendulum, Midnight Society +1000 other good shows) makes us watch The Invitation (2015), a slow-burner about a dinner party with a bunch of horny friends that really and truly hate each other so much that they have to spill one another’s blood all over a perfectly good red velvet cake. We really liked this movie!

Ep 2: Creep (w/ Nicole Russell)

It’s EPISODE 2 and we haven’t been cancelled yet!

Our movie this week is CREEP (2014). Starring Mark Duplass and another guy, this found footage film will have you asking yourself just how much you’ll put up with to avoid appearing impolite. Join us and special guest Nicole Russell (Movie Riot, Pendulum, Say Uncle) and find out if Mark’s warm, comforting presence is enough to keep us from turning completely stiff and dying of fright.

Programming note: we recorded this one week before they caught the Golden State Killer, so we’re going to sound like morons at one point. Enjoy!
